" Hi there!

Code Jam has let us know that you may be interested in hearing from us about potential roles @ Google.
The good news is that we have offices throughout the world and we're particularly keen to hire Arabic-speaking engineers for our new Google development offices in the Middle East.

We're not working on simply localising technologies developed in other countries, nor do we seek engineers who want to work on improving infrastructure. Instead, Google software engineers invent whole new technologies from scratch; stuff that will interest & inspire users across the world and affect 100's of 1,000's of people.

"We are not simply looking for engineers to solve the problems they already know the answers to; we are interested in engineers who can work out the answers to questions they have not come across before."

If this is something that might interest you, please let us know!

Make sure that you have the words "Code Jam 2008" on your CV and apply via the online application here:

thank you very much kamasheto, but yes google's requirements are difficult enough to be out of my league, and google has awesome workplaces around the world, not only the headquarters.

Check Google Zurich http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TPz1Mou-Xxk
Btw: Google Zurich has the EMEA office :)

I find it hard to believe that Google's requirement are out of your league.. I could easily believe the other way round, though.

Anyway, I personally think that however many branches Google has overseas the only Google that will be "The best working place" around its region would be Google USA, the headquarters. Nonetheless, if you insist on working in the Middle East I suggest you consider starting your own monopoly.

Good luck in whatever it is you decide to do =) (Although I believe that people like you don't really rely on luck that much.)

i agree with you Ahmed but not in Egypt, because Egyptian employees, most of them have two ways if they get training :
1- Want to increase their salary if can not do that use the other thing as pressing on the company or as an other solution
2- which will be searching for an other company or at least offer from them for using it as pressing way on the company

for your dream, i hope you success to make it in the nearest days

good luck
