I really dreamed to work in a place like this and on projects like those we are working on here in the company I work for “Thebe Technology”.

It is the most innovative, dynamic, agile, organized, fun workplace I’ve ever seen here in Egypt. If you think that fun can only happen at Google, then you are WRONG. Fun is not only about free food or wacky offices, fun is about people around you and combining fun with your work in every single moment so it’s the whole life inside the company not the free stuff (although we have free stuff too  )

What’s very interesting about Thebe technology is the innovation that is all around you all the time and everywhere, we don’t stop spawning new ideas and refreshing our hardcore computer science background in teasing computer science questions and discussions. Also it’s pretty exciting to feel that almost everybody around you is smarter than you are and you keep listening to very interesting discussions going between them about the latest technologies of cloud computing or virtuatlization. I didn’t stop learning from everybody around me and it’s very interesting to work with the smartest guys in the country.

If you love working with geeks, then this is the place to go, we have C/C++, Linux Kernel, Windows Drivers, Networks geeks working on highly sophisticated projects like the one I’m working on, that you ask them, chat with them, and discuss interesting ideas with them freely and friendly. Geeks can also be fun, but still in a geeky way hear the geek jokes all over the place and enjoy the wide technological spectrum of people’s backgrounds here.

People here have completely different backgrounds and interests and they are working on different projects with different technologies, so it’s always fun to hear what’s new at Microsoft technologies while you work on Unix/Linux C++ project or the leading edge in Virtualization while you are a windows driver programmer working on leading-edge driver.

We have pretty much of social/technological activities running inside here, our ThebeTalks are sessions handled and organized by the CTC (Community Training Committee) , Outings, Having lunch together or playing XBox Together and Traveling around the world together.
